Description
Check valve refers to the opening and closing parts for the circular disc and rely on its own weight and medium pressure to produce action to block the media flow back a valve.Automatic valve type, also known as check valve, check valve, backflow valve or isolation valve.Disc movement is divided into lifting type and swing type.Lifting check valves are similar in structure to globe valves except that the stem drives the disc.The medium flows in from the inlet end (the lower side) and out from the outlet end (the upper side).The valve is opened when inlet pressure is greater than the weight of the disc and the sum of its flow resistance.Conversely, the valve is closed when the medium flows backwards.Swing check valves have an obliquely aligned disc that rotates around a shaft and work in a similar manner to lift check valves.Check valve is commonly used as the bottom valve of the pumping device, which can prevent the backflow of water.Combined use of check valve and globe valve can play the role of safety isolation.Disadvantage is that the resistance is large, close when the tightness is poor.
