product description
Overview of forged steel flange gate valve;
Forged steel gate valve has three valve cover design forms. * One is bolt type valve cover. The valve body and valve cover designed according to this design form are connected by bolts and nuts, and sealed by wound gasket (made of 316 flexible graphite). Metal ring connection can also be used when customers have special requirements. The second design form is welded valve cover. The valve body and valve cover of this design form are connected by threads and sealed by full welding. When customers have special requirements, they can also use through welding connection.
Structural characteristics of forged steel flange gate valve;
1. Forged steel valves are suitable for medium and high temperature and high pressure valves with nominal pressures of PN2.5, 4.0, 10.0, 14.0 and 25.0Mpa and nominal diameters of DN10 ~ 50 mm. Suitable media are water, mixed gas of nitrogen and hydrogen, urea and methylamine liquid.
2. The valve stem and the valve stem nut are trapezoidal thread transmission, and the thread conforms to GB5796. The head of the valve stem is designed with a conical upper sealing surface, which is closely matched with the upper sealing seat of the valve cover when the valve is fully opened, without external leakage.
3. The valve body, valve cover and other pressure-bearing parts are forged integrally (die forging), and the valve body flange can also be welded. The valve connection forms include flange connection, socket welding connection and internal thread connection.
4. The connection between valve seat and valve body is made by threaded connection, welding, surfacing alloy layer on valve body or stainless steel valve directly processed on valve body. Thickness of surfacing layer is greater than or equal to 2mm.
5. For forged steel valves with nominal pressure greater than 15.0Mpa, the pressure self-tightening sealing structure is adopted, and the stuffing box and gate are forged integrally to ensure the compressive strength.
