Overview and use:
Elastic metal sealing butterfly valve adopts stainless steel U-shaped elastic sealing ring, which is consistent with polished butterfly plate, and has good sealing performance. It is suitable for adjusting flow and cutting off fluid in metallurgical, electric power, petrochemical, air, gas, water supply and drainage and other medium pipelines with medium temperature ≤425ºC. On the basis of this structure, PTFE can be used instead of multi-layer sealing ring to form a new generation of tri-eccentric PTFE sealing butterfly valve, which is widely used in corrosive medium with temperature ≤200ºC.
Features:
1. The butterfly plate is machined into an eccentric spherical surface with high precision, which has the sealing effect of an eccentric ball valve. Under the working condition of temperature ≤425ºC, it has good sealing performance. Because of its compact overall structure and low cost, it is an ideal substitute for ball valve.
2. With the three-dimensional eccentric structure, the butterfly plate is completely separated from the valve seat when it is opened by 10, so the friction is small and the service life is prolonged.
3. Due to the eccentricity, the valve is labor-saving in operation, and is less affected by the fluctuation of medium pressure, so it has the self-sealing effect of closing more and more tightly. The usual double eccentric butterfly valve is shown in the figure: Eccentricity 1 and Eccentricity 2 have about 25 stroke friction, and Triple Eccentricity adds a unique Eccentricity 3, which not only acts as a cam, but also reduces stroke friction and greatly prolongs the service life of the valve.
